This has been a fairly slow week at work, which is good considering I should be having a baby sometime in the next week. The problem is finding things to occupy my mind. Today was "I can't catch the cat" day at work. I had 2 cats scheduled to get fixed and both called in the morning saying that they couldn't get the cat. One eventually did and did bring her in. However that was my morning schedule. It is only10:30 and I am done for the morning. I have 3 appointments scheduled this afternoon and a pet food rep coming at noon, so I have to be here and have no need to leave but nothing to do. I have tried reading some articles in one of my vet magazines but have found myself unable to concentrate. So now I am just rambling on in this post.
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and she said that I could go into labor at any time and if, in the unlikely event, that I have not had my baby by next week we may schedule an induction. I will need to see if scheduling the induction is necessary or not because I am not sure that I want to be induced. However DH is dead set against having this baby on the 12th (his father's birthday) and even said once that if I did go into labor on that day that he may ask my doctor to stop it. To which I replied then I will kick you out of the room! I am just hoping my doctor is right and that I will have this baby before my next doctor's appointment which is on the 9th. Maybe this baby will decide to make an appearance on my birthday (the 7th) or tomorrow which is the day that they are throwing me a birthday party at work (our morning receptionist loves to throw parties and everyone will be here tomorrow) and my Grandma and Grandpa L's wedding anniversary (he passed away in 2006). My SIL and MIL (via my SIL) told me that I've got 2 kids born on 23rds, so now I need 2 born on 7ths. We'll see. Hope everyone is having a great day.
