So I am sorry that I have not added a new post in a while but I have been busy as a bee lately. We had 2 emergencies come into the clinic right before closing, so I stayed to help (even though I was not on-call, finally). I was on-call for the past 2 weeks, however. I am so grateful to get the coming 3-day weekend off. Wednesday was R.L.'s first day of 1st grade, which he loved and he had a really good day. Then this morning comes, I told him he had school today and expected him to be excited but NO!! He starts crying and whining that he doesn't want to go to school every day. I reminded him that he likes school, then he says he does but only for one day. I think he'll be fine once he settles into the routine again. We knew this day would come, but who could of predicted that it would come so early.
Okay that is out of the way now. I thought I'd let you all in on another hobby I have, besides writing poetry, and that is crocheting. I made some monkeys for my boys and my nephews for Christmas and some bunnies for my nieces for Easter. I don't have pictures of the monkeys (but I will take some) but here is a pictures of the bunnies.
