I have always felt that I don't write very much in the about me sections of on-line profiles. I feel compelled to write more but I don't know what else to say. So today I thought I'd mull over the question of about me?
**Disclaimer: Most of the following most readers will already know, because of previous posts and because they are someone who knows me in person, so feel free to not read if you don't want to, or you can read and give me suggestions (or questions to answer) about About Me sections. Thanks**
I am 28 years old and have been a wife for nearly 10 years (in July) to my high-school sweetheart. Our union has produced 3 beautiful boys. Their ages are nearly 7 (in Feb), 4, and 21 months. Our family will be blessed with a 4th child in June (11th - is my due date). This will, hopefully, be our last. We live in Helena, Montana and we love this state (although DH does not necessarily love Helena). Our household also includes my MIL (who moved in with us in May to help with childcare) and 1 dog named Guinness (an elderly black lab). I am a veterinarian and, yes, that means I work outside the home. To become a vet was my life-long career goal. We moved to Helena from Bozeman, MT - where my first job as a vet was. Before that we were in Fort Collins, CO (home of Colorado State University) where I went to vet school and got my undergraduate degree, while my DH worked to support me and our burgeoning family. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I tell you this because it does shape the type of person that I have become and aspire to be. I am accepting of all people regardless of their own personal background as I hope all my "friends" to be as well. My hobbies mostly include staying at home with my family and watching T.V. However I enjoy writing (journaling, poetry, short stories/essays) and have my a promise to myself to do that more often. Reading is another thing that I enjoy and have been remiss at doing and have also promised myself to read more. I believe in taking time for myself to recharge my batteries (where the reading and writing come in) and to make myself a better person, wife, and mother.
