Happy New Year

Well today is the 2nd day of 2009 and my 1-year anniversary of working at Total Dynamic Balance in Helena.
I guess I can tell about how I "rang in" the new year - not really too festive. I got home and then went out to pick up some pizza with my SIL (because she didn't really want pizza but maybe a salad or something else), so she could pick out what she wanted to eat. We placed the order at 5:50 pm. We were told that it would be 20 minutes. So we went to Target to kill some time, I should also mention that we had R. L. and Q with us. While at Target - we got some things we needed including new shoes for Q (he was growing out of and wearing out the shoes he currently has). Well about 25 - 30 minutes later we go back to Pizza Hut and our food is not ready yet and there is at least 5 other people waiting to pick up food as well. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I go back out to the van and start it because SIL and the boys were waiting outside. Then after about another 10 minutes, I call my MIL and tell her to feed C and T (my niece) because I don't know when we will get our food. About 60 minutes after I ordered we got our food (if they had told me this in the first place, we may not of gotten pizza or at least would have known the true wait time and not gotten annoyed). So we had dinner a little after 7, when we normally eat about 6. Shrek 2 was on, so we watched that with the boys. C had already gone to bed before the end of it but the older 2 went to bed once it was over. DH had to work, so he went to work. I took a shower and then watched some of Dick Clark's rocking New Year's Eve and the news and went to bed. I had some sparkling Cider to ring the new year in with but had no intentions of staying up to midnight. I hadn't been asleep very long (it was about 11:45), when my BIL (DH's brother) called - I am on call and did not have his number in my phone. I did not answer but realized, as I was literally shaking and walking downstairs, that that was the area code of where BIL lives and was probably his number. I confirmed this with SIL. My MIL then called my BIL to convey the message from me that I was going to "kill" him for waking me up. Then back to bed. At 12:45, C woke up and would not go back to sleep for an hour. I gave him cup of milk but in retrospect I should of changed his diaper, but I was too tired to think straight. At about 6:45 a.m. DH came home and I heard doors slamming and really had to pee, so couldn't go back to sleep until I went downstairs and peed. He asked why I wasn't up and if I had to work - which was no, the clinic is closed today. Then I went back to bed, C, miraculously was still sleeping. I got up and out of bed about 8:45 a.m. and C slept that long as well. Shortly after I got up my phone rang, but I got up and dressed and got C out of bed and then checked the message. I did have to go in, but I needed to go in to take care of the animals anyway. So I went in and DH, finally, went to bed (he decided to let both Cole and myself sleep in). Before he went to bed he showed me a page on the newspaper that listed some good sledding hills in Helena and I thought, "Good now we have some places to go sledding, when we go." Little did I know that he wanted me to take the boys sledding yesterday. I was out until 11 at the clinic and then all the boys needed to nap (translation, Mommy needed a nap and the older boys needed to stay in their room and be quiet so that I could). Then it was mid-afternoon and he was up and I had to go get stuff for dinner, etc. Plus when we go sledding I assume he wants to go with us and he didn't say, "Why don't you take the boys sledding today." I'm not a mind reader. Anyway we had meat loaf (made with deer burger, and you could still tell it was deer burger) or chicken (for those men in my life who do not eat meat loaf - DH, R. L., and now apparently C). Everyone was in bed at a reasonable hour, including myself. I slept in again this morning (no appointments until 10:30 a.m.) but only until 6:45. Today has been fairly uneventful and I hope the weekend in the same (I'm on-call, so it would be nice for my phone to be quiet). DH is taking SIL and T home tomorrow. The only thing that would make today better is if I could get paid today, but I think that will depend on if the people that do our payroll are open today or not.

In addition to my blog, I have a new item to post. I am starting a baby pool. For those who don't know baby #4 is due June 11, 2009. So here's the link to it:

Have fun everyone. Whoever is the winner will get a trinket of some sort and suggestions are being taken (but nothing too expensive).
